Coimbatore: The District Collector K. Rajamani on Monday flagged off the mobile awareness vehicles that will demonstrate the working of voter verifiable paper audit trails (VVPATs) and electronic voting machines (EVMs) to be used during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Coimbatore: The District Collector K. Rajamani on Monday flagged off the mobile awareness vehicles that will demonstrate the working of voter verifiable paper audit trails (VVPATs) and electronic voting machines (EVMs) to be used during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Highlighting the need to vote, the vehicle will showcase short films and messages sensitizing the public on the importance of casting vote.
The awareness vehicle with telecast short films stressing on 100% voting and will tour through the City and spread the message among the public especially first time voters.
Local cable operators are also advised to telecast the awareness short film to create awareness among the masses.
