In this regard, the Police registered case against students who took part in the protest in Coimbatore. And, it was alleged that the Principal of the Government Law College has denied permission for those students to appear for the exams.
Enraged by the act, the law college students are staging a sit-in agitation demanding to withdraw the case registered against 167 students. And, also urging the transfer of the Principal who is acting in favor of the ruling party.
The students also stressed departmental Action against the Superintendent of police R.Pandiarajan for revealing the victim's name.Case registered against students should be withdrawn.
However, the Principal of the college has issued a statement that all students would be permitted to appear for the exams.
