Coimbatore: An election flying squad team confiscated Rs.5.50 lakhs from a person Santhosh, after a vehicle check conducted at Lakshmi Nagar in Thondamuthur, here. 



"The cash was handed over to the treasury office and can be claimed back after submitting proper documents," said officials. Santhosh has been identified as an employee of the Coimbatore branch of CMS Info System at Meena estate here.
