Highlights:

* Rs.1500 for the differently abled and widows every month under the Amma poverty alleviation scheme. 

* MGR skill development program will be implemented to enable more jobs for youngsters. 

* Measures will be initiated to cancel NEET.

* Water management scheme will be implemented in drought-ridden areas. 

* Check dams will be built to store rainwater.

* Measures will be taken to implement Cauvery-Godavari project to prevent water from being wasted. 

* Check dams will be built in various places in Coimbatore to store water flowing from Western ghats-Noyyal river.

* Ground water enriching scheme will be introduced in Tamil Nadu.

* Cauvery Delta region will be announced as agriculture zone.

* Pressure to be mounted to carry out international investigation on the Sri Lanka massacre.

* Central government will be urged to provide State status for Puducherry.

* Educational loans of students will be cancelled.

* Measures will be initiated to bring education under State’s list.

* Central Government and President will be urged to release the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.
