Inspite of model code of conduct in effect, he garlanded the statue of MGR and began his electoral campaign.
"AIADMK has several plans to revive Tirupur, the export capital of the nation. Tirupur is a major textile and knit wear hub contributing to 90% of total cotton knit wear exports from India with Rs. 25,000 crore turnover. In the past, our government has introduced many path-breaking schemes to this region", Anandan said.
He also added that AIADMK will witness a whooping victory in the 17th Parliamentary elections and our past achievements will prompt people to vote for us.
