The lawyers not only urged maximum punishment for the accused but also demanded action on SP Pandiarajan for handling the case in a careless manner. Hence, they stressed that the Tamil Nadu State Police department should suspend the erring SP.
The lawyers also urged that the investigation should be led by a woman Justice.
They also raised slogans condemning the Principal of the law college alleging that he has been acting against the students.
