In Pollachi, DMK and AIADMK will directly compete with each other.
The announcement was made by M.K. Stalin, President of DMK who announced the name of the contestants in 20 constituencies for the upcoming Parliamentary elections. He also revealed the names of 18 candidates who would be contesting in the 18 assembly by-polls to be held on April 18.
About K. Shanmugasundaram
Born in 1970, K. Shanmugasundaram is an engineering graduate from Tirupur. He contested for DMK in Pollachi during 2009 Parliamentary elections and lost. He holds a prominent post at the 'Thalapathy Industrial training Centre' functioning in Udumalpet.
