A 28-year old youth, Balaji from Chennai is a man on a mission. He is travelling from Chennai to Pollachi on his bicycle, as part of an awareness campaign demanding stern action against the accused in the Pollachi sexual abuse case.
Balaji belongs to Angalankurichi near Pollachi and works for a private firm in Chennai. He began the awareness campaign on his bicycle on March 13. Covering a distance of 530 kms via Villuppuram, Salem, and Avinashi, he reached the Pollachi Sub-Collector's office this evening.
Balaji met Revenue Officer, Ravikumar and demanded stern action against the accused in the Pollachi sexual assault case. The Revenue Officer assured him that stern action will be taken in the case.
