Coimbatore: The CB-CID Police who have taken custody of Thirunavukarasu, the accused in the Pollachi sexual abuse case has been taken to Coimbatore medical college hospital (CMCH) for a medical examination. Following the Court's permission to take Thirunavukarasu in custody for four days, the CB-CID officials took him to the GH for physical examination.
Coimbatore: The CB-CID Police who have taken custody of Thirunavukarasu, the accused in the Pollachi sexual abuse case has been taken to Coimbatore medical college hospital (CMCH) for a medical examination.
Following the Court's permission to take Thirunavukarasu in custody for four days, the CB-CID officials took him to the GH for physical examination.
As per the rules, the Police should present the accused/suspect for a thorough medical examination.
The examination is being conducted 'secretively' to avoid media and public gathering at the GH.
