Coimbatore: Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI (M) is to contest in Coimbatore constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Coimbatore: Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI (M) is to contest in Coimbatore constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
According to an official statement from M.K. Stalin, President of DMK, he has confirmed that CPI (M) will contest in Coimbatore Constituency. "The name of the contestant will be announced in another 4-5 days", said Stalin at the meeting held at Anna Arivalayam in Chennai.
However, it is highly speculated that P.R.Natarajan will be the CPI (M) contestant. During the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, P R Nagaraj who contested in Coimbatore for CPI(M) won with 25.19 percent votes.
