Speaking at the event , Sundaravadivel, one of the Directors of Thenkoodu said, "Thenkoodu is a conglomerate of people who consider honesty, truth and hard work as their core values. We are starting this not only as a business entity but toward a social cause, to work toward developing the economy of the nation."
A Pari, retired Inspector General of Police, while delivering a special address at the launch opined, "Businesses with a social cause can change economies and Coimbatore with its unique entrepreneurial nature is the right place to start such a venture. Creation is the most difficult thing which only God is capable of and any creator, be it in business or art can be elevated to that stature.

This business creation will impact lives and contribute to the development of the nation."
"Everything from pins to planes will be made available at Thenkoodu. We have created this conglomerate with an intention of impacting the economy of the country. Like-minded people from various walks of life have come together to create this.

Akin to the 'Thenkoodu' which is a unique structure representative of the hard work and labour that bees put in to create sweet honey, this organisation too works on the principle of hard work and labour which will give back good things to the society," said S V Chakravarthy, the Chairman of Thenkoodu.

Thenkoodu was launched grandly with a traditional dance by a group of 50 women clad in traditional attire, enthralling the audience. Mohammed Jiabudhin, Judge, Additional sessions court, Tirupur, Ashok Bhakthavachalam, Director , KGISL and social activist Anbarasan were present at the event.
