Coimbatore: Students of the Government Arts College staged a protest seeking stern action against the accused in the Pollachi sexual abuse case.
Coimbatore: More than 100 students of the Coimbatore Government Arts College boycotted classes and staged a protest against the police and seeking stern action against the four men accused in the Pollachi sexual abuse case. The students raised slogans during the protest which went on for nearly an hour.
Speaking during the protest, Prabhakaran and Dinesh from the students organization said, "Government should investigate the Pollachi sexual abuse case honestly. Likewise, no political intervention should be seen in the investigation and stern action should be initiated against the accused. We will continue our protest in various stages till an honest investigation is carried out."
