Coimbatore : As per the orders, the Pollachi abuse case has been formally handed over by SP Pandiarajan to CB-CID, SP Nisha Parthiban in the presence of CB-CID, IG Sridhar at a high level meting held at the Police training academy on Avinashi road on Wednesday.
Coimbatore : As per the orders, the Pollachi abuse case has been formally handed over by SP Pandiarajan to CB-CID, SP Nisha Parthiban in the presence of CB-CID, IG Sridhar at a high level meting held at the Police training academy on Avinashi road on Wednesday.
Addressing the media, CB-CID, IG Sridhar assured that the case will be dealt with utmost earnesty and all offenders involved in the case would be brought to light. He also apprised that CB-CID SP Nisha Parthiban will be handling the case and a team of five officers from the police department led by DSP Muthusamy and Inspector Sumathi will assist the SP in the case.
“All the evidence and documents handed over by the police department will be re-scrutinised and the detained will be questioned”, he noted.
“As the case has turned to be a high priority, I have come in person to ensure smooth transit of the handing over formalities from Police department to CB-CID. If the state government transfers the case to CBI, we would hand over all the necessary documents” he noted.
