Meanwhile, ahead of the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Tamil Nadu, the BJP has been trending the hashtag #GoBackRahul, with the BJP State President Tamilisai Soundharajan also sharing the hashtag on her official twitter handle. On the other hand, the Congress party members are trending hashtags #VanakkamRahulGandhi and #WelcomeRahul.
The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is to take part in a campaign in Nagercoil, today. The Congress leader who arrived in Chennai today will participate in a private college event, following which he will head to Thiruvananthapuram from where he will leave to Nagercoil at 4 pm this evening to participate in a general meeting.
DMK President Stalin, TNCC Chief K S Alagiri, Dravidar Kazhagam leader K Veeramani, MDMK General Secretary Vaiko and leaders of allied parties of the DMK front will also participate in the meeting.
