Coimbatore : The BJP's youth town hall meeting which is supposed to show off youth strength, fell short of the intended purpose, as less than average attendance marked the event held in the City, tonight.

Though the agenda of the BJP's Youth Town hall aims to inspire the youth, the event did not seem to be teeming well with young aspirants.
The Youth Town Hall held in the city was headed by Muralidhara Rao, National Secretary of the Party. Except for the party cadres, the youngsters were 'clueless' of the event.
At the interactive session after the general secretary’s speech, none of the youth putforth any questions, except for a girl who asked about the party’s plans for Tamil Nadu.
Starting from success stories of demonetisation to Pradan Mandri Kissan samman nidhi yojana, the national Secretary threw a list of achievements of the BJP government to the youth. He importantly stressed that Modi's government stands for a corruption free and stable government.
He noted that NDA has a grand alliance with all major political parties and its one alliance, under one leader Modi.
Muralidhar Rao also condemned Congress as an enemy of the country. "In the name of opposing BJP, Congress is supporting Pakistan and enemies of the country” slammed the BJP leader.
Certainly, the town hall was clearly a dull affair with very poor attendance of youth.
