Tirupur: During a raid, a team of officials belonging to election flying squad confiscated Rs.10.lakh from a man from Pollachi.
Loganathan from Kottampatti, Pollachi was returning from Tirupur after getting 10 lakhs from his son Prabhakaran for his wife’s treatment. Election flying squad under, officer P. Mani stopped his car near Bharathi Vidyalayam on Pollachi- Palladam road and confiscated the 10 lakh cash from him.
As Loganathan did not possess proper documents, the flying squad seized the cash and handed it over to Palladam Tahsildhar, Shanthi.
