Coimbatore : The Pollachi Criminal Court on Monday extended the police custody for the three criminals N. Sabarirajan (25) aka Rishwanth from MGR Nagar, N. Sathish (29) from Suleeswaranpatti and T. Vasanthakumar (24) from Pakkothipalayam for their involvement in sexually abusing several school and college girls and later blackmailing them with video tapes.

The shocking case came to light after a 19-year-old college student, filed a complaint with the Pollachi (east) police on the fucntioning of a gang of youngsters who deceive young girls for pleasure and money.
The main accused, Thirunavukkarasu from Maakinaampatti, who was absconding for several days, was held on Tuesday and remanded.
It is speculated that apart from the four offenders, there could be a network of other men involved in the ghastly crime.
