According to the CCTV footage, a couple of miscreants are seen approaching a two wheeler parked outside a residence in Cheran Maa Nagar here. Later, the miscreants cut off the fuel line below the petrol tank and pump out the fuel to water bottles and escape from the spot.
Ganesh Prabhu, the owner of the two-wheeler fell suspicious, as his two-wheeler did not start and his petrol tanks showed 'Zero'. As he was very certain that his two-wheeler had sufficient petrol, Ganesh decided to check for any intrusions and scrutinised the CCTV footage from his home.
Shockingly, he came to know that two youngsters stole petrol from his bike, while he had parked his two-wheeler outside his home.
The video which has been doing rounds in the social media has panicked the motorists who park vehicles outside their houses during afternoon and night hours.
