Coimbatore: Minister S P Velumani distributed Rs.1,49,30,000 worth house patta to 91 beneficiaries, free of cost. The free house patta distribution function was held at Thondamuthur, today. The District Collector Rasamani and Minister S P Velumani distributed the patta certificates to the 91 beneficiaries.

Later, addressing the media, S P Velumani said, "House patta certificates for 8 beneficiaries residing in Sundakkamuthur and Thottarayamman Kovil Street for Rs.32 lakhs for 0.08 cent land and house patta for 21 beneficiaries residing at Komarapalayam, Telungupalayam and Masani Amman Kovil Street for Rs.26 lakhs for 0.13 cent land has been issued.

Likewise, house patta certificates worth Rs.9 lakhs for 0.09 cent land has been provided to 8 beneficiaries of Karadimadai in Thenkarai village. House patta certificate for 122 cents land worth Rs 82.30 lakhs has been provided to 54 beneficiaries residing at Vanjiyamman Nagar.
Later, Minister S P Velumani laid the foundation stone for garden construction works at the cost of Rs 40 lakhs in ward no.15 of Kaliyannan Pudur and Ward no.10 of Vivekanandha Nagar Cheran Street of Thondamuthur, under the integrated urban development plan of 2019-2020.
He also laid the foundation stone for development work in a cemetery at the cost of Rs.10 lakhs and offered a 'bhoomi pooja' to carry out development work in a cemetery in Ward no. 1 of Kuppepalayam to be carried out at the cost of Rs.10 lakhs.
The Minister also performed a 'bhoomi pooja' for erection of 50 solar lamp posts in Ward no. 15 of Kaliyannanpudur and at the cost of Rs.28 lakhs for erection of 50 LED lamp posts, as well as garden construction work to be carried out at Rs .40 lakhs in the Emperor city region in Thondamuthur. The District Revenue Officer Ramadurai Murugan and other officials participated in the event.
