Coimbatore : A delegation consisting of the office bearers of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Coimbatore met the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind during his visit to Coimbatore on March 3, at Circuit House.

The President of ICII, Coimbatore, V Lakshminarayanasamy, Vice Presidents, C Balasubramanian and Rajesh B Lund, Hon. Secretaries, CSK Prabhu and K Balakrishna Shetty and the Treasurer, C Dorairaj were among the delegates who met the President.
Availing this opportunity, V Lakshminarayanasamy extended an invitation to the President of India to visit their Chamber and address the members during their 90th year celebrations. He also pointed out that the proposed 'Industrial Corridor' by the Government, if implemented through Coimbatore will greatly help MSMEs not only to utilize their spare capacities but also upscale their production and improve the economy of the region and nation.
The President is said to have considered the invitation and promised to visit the Chamber whenever he visits Tamil Nadu next.
