Coimbatore : On behalf of Boluvampatti Primary Health Care Center, a polio camp will be organised at Isha Yoga Center on March 10.
To eradicate poliomyelitis (polio) in India, the Government of India took up the Polio Campaign initiative in the year 1995 by vaccinating all children under the age of five years against the polio virus. This year on March 10, 2019, polio camps are being organised all over the sub-continent. In Thondamuthur, Coimbatore, on behalf of the Boluvampatti Primary Health Care Center, 27 polio camp centers are to be held.
To avail this facility to masses and tourists, Boluvampatti Primary Health Care Center will be organising one of its polio camp center at the Isha Yoga Center from 7 am to 5 pm on Mar 10. , 2019. Children up to 5 years of age will be given polio drops free of cost.
Similarly, with the help of Isha, polio drops are to be given for tribal children in Mullankadu, Madakadu, Dhanikandi. Isha Outreach is to organise transport facilities for all these 27 polio camps in Thondamuthur.
