Chitra and Ambika (Education of Tribal Children), Vinny R Peter (Community Educational and Animal Rescue), Rama Menon (Dedication in Education), Jayashree Ravi and Mary Jenet Mejella (Social Service), Taslima Nasreen (Social work and service to transgender community), Shravanthi (Service to cancer patients) and Gayatri (Service to children with special needs) were felicitated with awards for their grit and dedication to social causes.
Each awardee was given a framed 'Her Recognition' certificate and a handmade memento with the inscribed words "I AM STRONG!".
Ladies Circle Area 7 brand ambassador, Dr. Jaya Mahesh, a fitness therapy specialist, India Earth winner and a celebrity in Coimbatore. Area Chairperson Cr. Rohini, Area Projects Convenor Cr. Rani, immediate past Area Chairperson Deepika, Circle Chairpersons Kavitha, Priyanka, Madhu and other Circlers participated in the celebrations.
