Coimbatore : With the entire world busy exchanging Happy Women's Day wishes and convening events to honour women achievers and women in general across all walks of life, students of the Government Arts College got off the beaten track and celebrated womanhood by releasing 'Inidhi,' a unique song on the hardships that women undergo during menstruation.
Coimbatore : With the entire world busy exchanging Happy Women's Day wishes and convening events to honour women achievers and women in general across all walks of life, students of the Government Arts College got off the beaten track and celebrated womanhood by releasing 'Inidhi,' a unique song on the hardships that women undergo during menstruation.
Titled as 'Inidhi,' the song is written by Haripriya from the Department of Mathematics, while Tilak Kavikaran of the same college composed music for the song which elucidates the struggles, pain and mood swings faced by women during their monthly menstrual cycles.
To mark International Women's Day, the Government College students released the audio track on YouTube as a tribute to the millions of women out there.
