Nilgiris : The Nilgiris District Collector, Innocent Divya and the Superintendent of Police, Shanmuga Priya celebrated International Women’s Day along with tourists at the Ooty Botanical Gardens today. They cut a cake and celebrated along with 300 women at the gardens.
Games were conducted as part of the event and both officials even danced with the tourists. At the end of the celebration, all those present took a pledge to prevent child marriages.
