Security was beefed up today at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata after an anonymous call warning of a terror attack was received at the Kolkata Police headquarters in Lalbazar.
According to police, the call which was made at 01:30 at night, said someone was planning to attack the airport.
Following the call, police and airport authorities are now taking stock of the situation.
Police is trying to trace the call and have also launched a probe to see whether it is a hoax or not.
