Coimbatore : A complaint has been lodged at the Race Course police station against a school teacher of a government middle school for allegedly beating a child.
Parents of the boy, Balaji (9) have lodged a complaint against a teacher of Government middle school in Pappanaickenpalayam for allegedly beating their son for not finishing his lunch.
According to the complaint, Balaji a student of the government middle school was unable to find his lunch provided at the school's noon meal scheme. The teacher has allegedly beaten him up for not finishing the meal. When the kid returned home he has reported the incident to his mother who inturn took up the issue to the police.
The police are presently investigating the teacher and the headmistress of the school.
