According to reports, last evening, the Chennai Police Control Room received a call from a person who said that bombs were placed in the houses of actor Rajinikanth and former late CM Jayalalithaa. Immediately, the bomb squad with sniffer dogs conducted a thorough search for nearly two hours at both residences only to find that the call was a hoax.
The police say that on investigation, they found that the person who made the fake bomb threat call was from Coimbatore and reportedly has a mental disorder, and the police are on the lookout for him.
