However, rekla enthusiasts from Alagumalai and Jallikattu federation jointly conducted a rekla race in Tirupur's Alagumalai in which more than 1000 bulls took part.
The galloping bulls enthralled the spectators who cheered the participants with whistles. Two categories of race was held today -- 200m and 300m and prizes were distributed to the winners.
