President, Ram Nath Kovind will be the chief guest for the Mahashivaratri celebration to be held at Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore on March 4. The President is scheduled to arrive to the city by 3.40 pm tomorrow in a separate flight. The President who will stay at the Government guest house in Race Course will take part in an event to be held at Sulur Air Force station, on Monday.
Later, on the same day, he will participate in the Maha Shivaratri function to be held at Isha Yoga Centre and will return to New Delhi, on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, ahead of the President visit, 5000 police are deployed for security in Coimbatore. Police security is tightened at all prominent locations including airport, government guest house, Sulur Air force station.
