Coimbatore : As many as 35,723 students are appearing for the 12th board examinations in the district of Coimbatore which includes Pollachi, Perur, SS Kulam on Friday.
Coimbatore : As many as 35,723 students are appearing for the 12th board examinations in the district of Coimbatore which includes Pollachi, Perur, SS Kulam on Friday.
1200 students will appear under the private category and 96 physically-challenged will appear, this year. And, 120 examination centres have been allotted this year which was 113 centres, last year. The examination will be held between March 1 to 19.
With the school education department attempting to leave no gaps in security arrangements for the 12th board examinations that have commenced today, 70 plus flying squads will be supervising the exam halls in Coimbatore district.
This morning, District Collector, K. Rajamani inspected the examination centre at Rangammal Girls Higher Secondary school near Anna Silai, here.
A total of 8,87,992 students will be appearing for the 12th board examinations across Tamil Nadu.
