"A new project proposal was designed by CM, Edapadi K Palanisamy, after holding several discussions with the committee . The entire Rs.1652 crore required for the project was taken up by the State government. In 2019 budget, Rs.1000 crore was alloted by the CM which is a huge step in realising the project.
