"My name 'Stalin' is a proof on how much 'Kalaignar', my father was in admiration for communist ideology. Way back during my school days, the school demanded to change my name. Kalaignar denied it", said Stalin on the nostalgic moments on the ideological similarities that binds DMK and Communist parties.
He also slammed on the Centre and the State government for trying to suppress the rights of the citizens. The Centre's effort to identify India as a particular religion's nation is against secularism. Secularism is an essential component for a diverse country like India.
"PM's silence on rafale deal is a proof for the high level corruption involved in it. Instead of answers, BJP has been projecting wrong facts to the people and trying to convince them. Even after the recent attack, the defence ministry projects this to be the first attack on India during BJP regime between 2014-2019. Whereas the facts are different. In 2014, 9 of our men were killed, in 2016, 9 men were killed and now it's 44", he noted.
"During DMK's regime, we worked earnestly for the upliftment of the State and the people not 'Corporates'. The BJP government has been fair only to the corporates. And, AIADMK has been backing them up in the State", Stalin alleged.
He also criticised that earlier it was MGR led AIADMK, later transformed to Amma - AIADMK, and now it is Adimai (slavery) AIADMK.
