Coimbatore : A woman in K.K.Chavadi in Coimbatore killed her kid on Tuesday, by throwing her into a well and committed suicide, police officials said.
Coimbatore : A woman in K.K.Chavadi in Coimbatore killed her kid on Tuesday, by throwing her into a well and committed suicide, police officials said.
Jagadesh (36) and Kanchana Devi (30) were living at Gandhipuram 6th Street along with their girl child Sai Mahathi (3).
On Tuesday, Kanchana Devi took the child to her grandfather's farm in KK Chavadi here. She allegedly threw the child into a well and later jumped into the well and comitted suicide.
While the family were searching the missing mother and the kid, they found Kanchana's two-wheeler parked inside the farm in KK Chavadi.
During the search, they found Kanchana and the kid's body floating in the well located inside the farm. The KK Chavadi police arrived to the spot and retrieved the bodies.
Initial reports reveal that Jagadesh had not been regular to work due to health issues. And, the couple had been fighting over the issue which provoked her to take the extreme step.
