Coimbatore : "Though we lack monetary power like BJP-AIADMK-PMK alliance, the parties under DMK are determined to work for the welfare of the people and ideology. Our sincere thanks to Amit Shah and Modi for aligning with parties whom people distrust the most", said CPI, senior leader, D.Pandian here.

Addressing the gathering, he questioned on how PMK could sign an alliance pact with AIADMK after accusing them with a series of corruption charges.
"The nation is moving backwards in terms of development. The people of well aware of the political situation in the nation and are waiting for a change in leadership. Under the BJP governance, lakhs of small and medium entrepreneurs have lost their business and lakhs under the clutches of unemployment. It's time to teach BJP a good lesson", he added.
He also alleged that after letting the farmers suffer and die in the past five years, PM Modi is now distributing Rs. 2000 for their welfare. How cunning!.
