Aimed at helping the rural youth in maintaining their physical fitness and mental well being, the Minister inaugurated the a fully-equipped gym at Nambialaganpalayam, Vedapatti Panchayat here.

Earlier, the CM had announced that as many as 1,000 villages in the State will get 500 Amma parks and 500 Amma gymnasiums to help rural youth maintain their physical fitness.
While the parks would be set up at a cost of Rs 100 crore, the gyms would come up at a cost of Rs 50 crore, the CM said.
