Coimbatore: With most forested areas in Coimbatore being affected by forest fire, the Panappalli reserve at Anaikatti has caught fire today.

Coimbatore: With most forested areas in Coimbatore being affected by forest fire, the Panappalli reserve at Anaikatti has caught fire today.

The fire that broke around noon was spreading to the nearby areas and attempts were being by forest personnel and local people to control it.

A team has been deployed to fight the fire. According to officials, it is becoming difficult for them to successfully put out fire as forest fire is observed in the ranges of Madukkarai, Periyanaickenpalayam and Coimbatore.
