Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector Rasamani has issued orders for Rs.2000 to be distributed once in four months to 100 farmers under the Kisan Samman Yojana scheme.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector Rasamani has issued orders for Rs.2000 to be distributed once in four months to 100 farmers under the Kisan Samman Yojana scheme.
The scheme will help small and medium scale farmers to gain up to Rs.6000 every year, which will be provided in four installments as Rs.2000, once in four months. A total of 69,000 petitions have been brought, among which 36016 farmers were added to the scheme to whose account the first installment amount of Rs.2000 has been credited. Small and medium scale farmers who have up to five acres of land can join this scheme by submitting necessary documents.

Eligible farmers who did not receive the amount will be credited on March 1 and 2 during the second phase. Farmers whose names have been left out in the list can approach their village administrative office or agriculture office to get their names added.
In the event held in Nilgiris, 19 farmers were issued with orders for the monetary fund.
