Coimbatore : Coimbatore District Collector K Rajamani IAS conducted a surprise inspection at the Adi Dravidar College boys hostel at Balasundaram Road on Saturday. The hostel is managed by Adi Dravidar welfare department in which 174 students are currently staying at the hostel. One hostel warden, three cooks, one assistant and a cleaning staff are employees by the department to take care of the students.
The District Collector today inspected the entire campus including kitchen, hostel rooms and toilets. After analyzing the place, he found that the the campus was not maintained properly. Collector Rajamani , temporarily suspended R. Jaganathan, the hostel warden. He further instructed the staff to clean update the campus and being it back to pristine state within two days of time.
