Tirupur : Opposition parties protested in front of the Corporation office in Tirupur condemning AIADMK party members collecting application forms for providing monetary funds to non-organisational employees but not issuing to others.

Tirupur : Opposition parties protested in front of the Corporation office in Tirupur condemning AIADMK party members collecting application forms for providing monetary funds to non-organisational employees but not issuing to others.



The State Government has announced that Rs. 2000 will be provided to non-organizational employees who are below the poverty line. Applications for this will be provided at the Corporation and VAO office from February 24. Meanwhile, opposition parties including DMK, CPM and MDMK cadres protested at the office of the Deputy Commissioner alleging that AIADMK party members have collected all the application forms and have retained them. 

Police officials negotiated with the protestors, after which they left the spot.
