The forest guard, Annadurai was unexpectedly attacked by a bear hiding in the bushes. Annadurai sustained injuries on his hands, legs and head, following which he was admitted to a private hospital in Masinagudi for first-aid. The Forest Department has decided to take him to Coimbatore for further treatment.
