Addressing the media at Gobichettipalayam in Erode, Minister Sengottaiyan said, "The Education Department is making the necessary arrangements to conduct Board Exams for Classes 5 and 8.
The exams will be conducted only if the State Government passes an order but no such order has been passed yet." He also stated that the decision on giving priority to Government School students for Government jobs will be made after negotiating with the Chief Minister.
