The convict Krishnan was arrested by the district police in February 2016 in connection with the murder of a forest guard named Kannan, who was murdered on the 17th of February, 2016.
Kannan was drowned in a pond by Krishnan after a quarrel over disturbing a wild elephant near Mavanalla.
While Krishnan was immediately arrested by the district police, the verdict was pronounced today.
