Coimbatore : City lawyers staged an agitation on Thursday here urging to trace the whereabouts of environmentalist Mugilan who is allegedly missing.
A petition has been filed in Madras High Court to find the Mugilan who went missing few days ago. Meanwhile, lawyers protested in front of Coimbatore Court compelling to take necessary action to find Mugilan.
‘After the release of the controversial document on thoothukudi sterlite shooting incident, Mugilan is reportedly missing. Hence, it creates dubiousness if he could have been kidnapped or secretively arrested", opined one of the protesting lawyer.
He also noted that the Police has not been showing any interest in finding Mugilan, hence the State government should order the Police to initiate action to find him.
