Coimbatore : Following the announcement of coalition between BJP and AIADMK, members of the Zonal Amma Peravai' gathered here at a private hall in the city to discuss on their roles in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Addressing the media, MLA R.B. Udhaya Kumar opined that their alliance which was signed on the birth anniversary of 'Amma' symbolises her blessings and victory.
He criticised that DMK is short of candidates for all the 39 constituencies, hence struggling to freeze their alliance talks.
"People clearly remember the ugly tiff between Vaiko and DMK, in the past. And, now Vaiko is all praise for DMK and Stalin. DMK lacks the vision and clarity in facing the elections and fixing alliances", he said.
"Even pathetic, is the state of affairs in AMMK. Fearing defeat, their candidates are mongering that their focus in only on State elections and not Parliamentary", he criticized.
