According to reports, Nirmal Kumar, Revenue Inspector at the civil supply department of South taluk office is residing at LG Nagar phase 2 in Vellalore. Nirmal Kumar who returned to house yesterday night after visiting relatives was shocked to find that the locker in the house was broken.
On information, Podanur Police came to the spot along with sniff dogs and forensic officials. It was found that burglars entered by breaking the back door of the house. Police are scrutinising the CCTV camera from the nlocations.
Reportedly, 26 sovereign gold and Rs 50,000 cash was burgled from the house.
