The employees union of Airport Authorities of India (AAI) has defered their indefinite strike call and instead will observe a Relay hunger strike.

Expressing their disapproval against the privatisation of six airports, the AAI employees union had called for an indefinite strike from February 20. A union meeting held at New Delhi today took a decision to defer the strike and to go for a relay hunger strike from starting from February 25.

A mail from the union stated that the decision was taken in the wake of the unpleasant situation prevailing in the country following the Pulwama attack which killed 44 CRPF men.
