In the shuffle of IAS officials in the State, Dr. K. VijayaKarthikeyan who was the City Corporation Commissioner was transferred and Sravan Kumar, a 2014 batch IAS who was serving as Deputy Collector, Tirupur has been posted as CCMC Commissioner here.

Sravan Kumar - An ECE graduate from IIT Mumbai passed out in 2006 with an All India ranking of 52 in IAS. He hails from Nalagonda district from Telangana.
Started as Deputy Collector in Trichy, Sravan Kumar later worked as Assistant Secretary to Vice President, Venkaiya Naidu in the Urban development Ministry.
