Sayan, Walayar Manoj, Bijin Kutty and Thibu who are the accused in the Kodanad case did not appear for hearing on February 8, following which an arrest warrant had been issued to nab them. Meanwhile, Bijin Kutty and Thibu were arrested by the Special Police team of the Nilgiris Police Department in Kerala. However, the police were still on the lookout for the prime accused of Sayan and Walayar Manoj.
Meanwhile, the five men connected to the case appeared before the Nilgiris Criminal Court at 11 am today. The judge issued a warrant for Manoj Sami who did not appear before the Court. However, Thibu and Bijin were brought from the Coimbatore Prison and were produced before the Court. Judge Vadamali ordered that all the accused should appear before the Court on March 4.
