Sankara College students take out silent rally to honour CRPF martrys

Coimbatore : Students of Shankara College of Science and Commerce carried out a silent rally for the CRPF martyrs who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.


Coimbatore : Students of Sankara College of Science and Commerce carried out a silent rally for the CRPF martyrs who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.



At least 40 CRPF soldiers were killed in the terrorist suicide attack. Among the martyrs were two soldiers from Tamil Nadu. World countries and political parties across the nation are paying homage to the martyrs. Similarly, as a mark of honour, students of Sankara College of Science and Commerce at Saravanampatti here carried out a silent rally which began at the Women’s Polytechnic College and ended at VOC Park. Later, more than 300 students paid homage to the martyrs by lighting candles.
