Kerala bandh: Bus operation suspended at Ukkadam bus stand

Coimbatore : Owing to bandh in Kerala, operation of buses from Ukkadam to Palakkad has been terminated on Monday.



Coimbatore : Owing to bandh in Kerala, operation of buses from Ukkadam to Palakkad has been terminated on Monday. As many as 27 buses, including 18 TNSTC and nine point to point buses, ply from Ukkadam bus terminus to Palakkad and its neighbouring area. After bus operation was terminated, people had to arrange taxis to reach Palakkad. 

It may be noted that the bandh has been called after two youth wing cadre of Congress were hacked to death near Periya at Kasargod in Kerala on Sunday. The United Democratic Front (UDF) alleged that CPI(M) was behind the murder and called for a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district on Monday.
